Target group: Experienced dancers who want to be able to teach and call English Country dances.
Programme: A selection of subjects to be covered: History of ECD; terminology; formations; the difference between ECD and New England; steps and movements; preparing a programme; knowing basic dances; modern favourites; working with beginners, advanced dancers and mixed groups; music and rhythms; choice of music; using amplification equipment; working with bands; building experience by calling and above all: lots of dancing!
